I WANT YOU (for the whole month of July)

A RECENT HAPPENING (true story):

I get on the bus to go to my internship. A man reeking of alcohol sits next to me and asks for a dollar. I say no, and he tells me he’s going to eat me.

I take a new job. I am to dress like cartoon characters and go to children’s birthday parties. I’m excited because this means Disney Princess dresses. I pick up a costume for the weekend and am shocked to find a giant crate filled with twenty pounds of Ninja Turtle costume. The mask makes me blind and there are thirty kids at the party.

My kitten gets fleas. I am positive for many days that I also have fleas.

These things happen and all day I think, “I can’t wait to blog about this.”

And then I get home and sit down and then get up and make dinner and then take a shower and then get antsy and go for a run and then get disgusted by my own stench and take another shower and then suddenly it’s midnight and I’m like oh yeah I’ll just do that in the morning LOL I don’t have to be in to work until nine so I’ll wake up at 5:30 and write it hahaha I’m so good at blogging. But then I wake up at 7:30, fifteen minutes before I need to be out the door.

Nothing gets written. A different man says something weird on the bus. I go to a party dressed as a monstrous Hello Kitty. I take my kitten to the vet. I start to worry that all of the things I want to write about will get sticky in my brain and cause an aneurism.

SO. I am having a contest with myself. For the month of July, I am going to update my blog three times a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday).

I’d love to hear what YOU want to read about! If you have any burning questions or something you’d like me to Sporknote, PLEASE let me know!

You can tweet at me, Facebook me, or leave a comment! If you know where I live, you can just show up at my house.

Either way, check back every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday of July for something new and, if you’re lucky, grammatically correct. Thanks for reading!

  3. Miss Christina,

Why does back pain give both numbness and pain, at the same time? Why?
If you had to pick a color for the day time sky other than blue, what would it be?
So if you don’t go to bed, do you still get morning breath? Please practice this and give results.
Were the first cameras fitted with round film to match the lenses?
Can an unshelled peanut, that you might get at the supermarket, if planted grow into a peanut tree or bush or whatever the heck peanuts come from?
How many licks does it take to get to the Tootsie Roll center of a Tootsie Pop? Please provide a graph and use several sources for data comparison.

Have a pleasing day dear lady. smiles
